Towering Pines Resort is a traditional family cabin resort located on beautiful Clamshell Lake in the heart of Minnesota’s Whitefish Chain. Ideally situated between Crosslake and Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, Towering Pines offers 540 feet of scenic lake frontage, there’s plenty of space to relax, soak up the sun, spend time with family, and take in the peaceful Northwoods setting and abundant wildlife. When you’re ready to unwind indoors, choose from one of our 15 fully furnished cabins, each thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Every cabin is equipped with heat or a cozy fireplace for those cooler evenings. While most cabins do not have air conditioning, the natural shade and lake breeze provide a refreshing escape. Our cabins are available from the second week in May through mid-September, offering the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of the Northwoods.
